IBM deserves a big condemnation from all internet users. IBM and five leading universities are undertaking the cognitive computation for the service of those in power, not for the internet users. IBM is helping those in power to harness the exploding digital data, ignoring the internet users all over the world. Picture that internet users is helpless with the fact that Google is giving them 25 billions of search results. We are just helpless with this data explosion. IBM is greedy and mean. It does not care about the internet users. IBM is zero on internet direct democracy and empowering internet users with this cognitive technology to harness this digital data explosion. We have every right to condemn IBM for abandoning global internet users desparate need of tackling with digital data explosion. Do not forget greedy Google. Who can give 25 billion search results to a poor internet user? Who will protect global internet users against this digital data explosion. This is my project. Building this cognitive internet for global internet users. This will be global mind protecting all mankind. This will be nexgen civilization will free all mankind from slavery of all evils like money, employment and competition for goods etc. Total freedom is coming and IBM is denying this change to internet users. Hello IBM, wake up. Give it to people, not to abusive dictators…
In an effort to help those in power make split second decisions IBM is building a brain to help put together disparate pieces of information to aid in those decisions.
In an unprecedented undertaking, IBM Research and five leading universities are partnering to create computing systems that are expected to simulate and emulate the brain’s abilities for sensation, perception, action, interaction and cognition while rivaling its low power consumption and compact size.
The digital data explosion shows no signs of slowing down — according to analyst firm IDC, the amount of digital data is growing at a mind-boggling 60 percent each year, giving businesses access to incredible new streams of information. But without the ability to monitor, analyze and react to this information in real-time, the majority of its value may be lost. Until the data is captured and analyzed, decisions or actions may be delayed. Cognitive computing offers the promise of systems that can integrate and analyze vast amounts of data from many sources in the blink of an eye, allowing businesses or individuals to make rapid decisions in time to have a significant impact. . .
